In 1967, HSS was incorporated by seven entities to provide shared, cost-effective, specialized services. Since its incorporation, HSS has continually sought to improve upon professional security services offered to businesses, public entities and communties. While other national or international security companies may cut corners in training or employee benefits, HSS continues to hold to its high standards and provides superior value and professional service excellence. HSS is Colorado's largest provider of contract security services with the unparalleled ability to access a ready back-up security force numbering 1300 security personnel, currently licensed to work in the State of Colorado, and another 1000 employees deployed in nine other states. For more than 10 years, HSS Security has been the primary contract security provider for the Denver International Airport, where we currently deploy more than 350 security officers. In July of 2005, HSS was awarded the contract for all City and County of Denver owned public office buildings including the courtrooms, the Denver Police Department, utilities facilities, and city government buildings. HSS also provides security for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Denver Water, Denver Waste Water, universities, and large office structures throughout Colorado. In 2006, HSS was designated as the primary security contractor for Colorado Springs Utilities and deploys more than 100 security employees in the Colorado Springs area.
