Thank you for visiting us here at Hosted Tours. Hosted Tours gives a service like no other. Our goal is to make you feel at home here in Steamboat. We will arrange anything and everything to make your vacation more enjoyable. Not only do we all live here in Steamboat but we all love mountain sports. We want to give you a special experience but more importantly, a memorable mountain experience. My name is Brad Somers and I am the founder and president of Hosted Tours. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising from the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1998. I am a Certified Level 2 Alpine Instructor. I have been an adult and children's instructor for six years. I spent two years teaching full-time in Germany and Austria. While in Europe I developed a real feel for ski insruction on a worldly level. I taught and skied with Europeans while there and learned a great deal about skiing from their standards. That invaluable experience broadened me as an instructor and also as a tour operator. I decided to leave Europe and pursue skiing in the United States. I spent a season in Winter Park, Colorado teaching adults and then moved on to Big Mountain in Whitefish, MT where I taught children and adults. I then finally made my way to Steamboat where I have called home, taking pleasure in being a full-time instructor. Steamboat is a great town and a great mountain.
