Housing Options Made Easy, Inc., relies on the support of the Western New York community to provide services to people in need. Donations from supporters help raise money needed to supplement the gap between the available funding sources and our growing program needs. Housing Options Made Easy, Inc., was established in 1990 and is a 501c 3 not-for-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible.
Our mission is to provide services that help individuals who have a mental illness to achieve social equality, so that they can live with dignity and have choices in the community. Please visit the Programs section of this website. Housing Options is committed to decreasing stigma by increasing awareness of mental illness through information, education and advocacy. Our efforts encompass service recipients, family members, mental health professionals and the general community. We respect every person's uniqueness and individuality and their right to make choices.
To achieve complete social equality for individuals with mental illness by providing supported housing and other services so that individuals may live with dignity and have choices in the community.
There are numerous individuals in our communities who suffer from mental health issues, addictions and homelessness. Housing Options was established in 1990 as a grassroots organization, operated by and for individuals with mental health issues, to provide supportive housing and advocacy services.
Housing Options Made Easy is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit supported housing and community support services agency developed and operated by and for recipients of mental health services. Founded in 1990 in Gowanda, NY, Housing Options serves six New York State counties: Erie, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Allegany, Niagara and Monroe. Our agency helps individuals who face mental challenges, some of whom also have physical challenges, to find affordable housing, jobs, and to explore educational opportunities.
