Cyrus attended the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. He spent a year working with Xceligent, Inc., learning the ins and outs of the commercial real estate industry. He later attended the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University. Cyrus has spent time working with Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas and Coats Rose in Houston, gaining experience in the field of law.
