Description

Co-founder and principle of national consulting practice in electronic communications, telephony systems, and educational development and training seminars. Client base includes both the public and private sectors: from large federal agencies, Fortune 500 manufacturing organizations, to local governments. Activities for clients include a complete range of communications related assignments, including analyzing existing telecommunications systems and cable plant, needs analysis, feasibility studies, Requests for Proposals, evaluation of vendor ’s proposals, contract negotiations, and implementation of systems. Assignments also include designing and assisting in implementing clients ’ telecommunications department, consisting of financial models for budget purposes, departmental statement of purpose, five-year plan, job descriptions, personnel selection, and daily management procedures. Worked with clients on developing and implementing Wide Area Network Systems and including multi-node fiber based systems, and coaxial cable based systems. Working as a member of a consulting team, have prepared Strategic Information Technology Plans for several major cities in the United States. The plans have included software applications and enterprise wide computing needs, infrastructure requirements to meet the data processing needs, voice communications needs with computer telephony integration and advanced customer service and productivity enhancing applications to meet the changing environment of city governments.
