As the Director of Public Affairs, Passini oversees the public affairs division of HCG and provides clients with counsel on grassroots mobilization, third party outreach and coalition building. Passini has over 10 years of experience in campaign management, community organizing and grassroots advocacy. During that time, she has worked with non-profits, political campaigns, government and public affairs firms to build effective coalitions and strategic partnerships amidst challenging political environments.
Heather also has experience in staffing as a Professional Search Consultant at Positions, Inc.; a boutique search firm focused on permanent administrative and professional placement services to associations, non-profit organizations and corporations in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. By partnering with organizations, she assisted in meeting their staffing needs and worked with individuals to explore opportunities based on their professional experience, qualifications and core competencies.
Howard Consulting Group adds New Directors April 4, 2012 Howard Consulting Group, the D.C. public affairs firms, have added Brian Walton as the Director of the Communications and Media Division and Derek Gianino as the Account Executive in its Public Affairs Division. Walton has extensive experience in his field and has worked with the United State Department of Commerce, the White House, and many national political committees. Most recently, Gianino was the Deputy Field Manager at DDC Advocacy and as treasurer and advisor for Congressman David McIntonsh (R-IN).
Passini comes to HCG from the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, where she served as political director, overseeing strategic and spending decisions in 13 states.
