Description
Livingston County Gymnasts, INC. (LCG), conveniently located at 760 McPherson Park Drive (across from Pepsi) in the heart of Howell, has been serving Livingston County families for over 5 years, and is home to both the Fowlerville High School Gymnastics Team, and their own Mid-Michigan Recreational Gymnastics League (MRGL) Competition Team. LCG is a USA Gymnastics registered gym and the head coach and founder, Katie Paquette, has been coaching for over 15 years. LCG is a non-profit gym.
High Flyers is a well-established gym that has been in business for over 26 years. Lesson plans have been fine-tuned to teach correct form and technique allowing for success and self-confidence. High Flyers is a proud supported of the Howell High School Gymnastics Team.
Chris Techentin has worked with the Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority since 2009 and worked as the Beach Supervisor at Thompson Lake for a couple years. He grew up in Hartland, Michigan and is enrolled at Grand Valley State University where he is pursuing a degree in Art and Design. Chris has been attending Howell events for years and enjoys giving back to the community.
Scholarship Information The Howell Area Parks & Recreation Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial assistance to children who wish to participate in our recreational activities and programs. While it is our intent to provide recreational activities to all residents, limitations of how much scholarship assistance families can utilize have been put into place to ensure that each deserving child will be able to participate in at least one activity per year. Scholarships are only available to residents of the City of Howell, Oceola, Genoa, and Marion Townships.
