In 1964, Howell Laboratories, Inc. (HLI) incorporated and began designing and manufacturing equipment for the US Navy and US Coast Guard. In 1980 HLI purchased Shively Labs ( www.shively.com ) and consolidated operations at our current location. Shively Labs is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HLI which designs and manufactures the world’s leading technology in FM broadcasting equipment.

Halogen Systems – a high-tech Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) company experienced in state of the art multi parameter sensor technology for measuring various chemical levels residing in drinking water, ballast water, waste water and seawater cooling systems. Our partnership was established when the US Navy had the requirement to measure and control chlorine discharge values to comply with future environmental pollutant policies.

Howell Laboratories was founded in 1964, and has been supplying maritime products, predominantly to the US Navy, US Coast Guard and foreign navies since its inception. An ESOP company, Howell Laboratories is also MIOX Corporation’s ( www.miox.com ) sole maritime partner.

Our products are fully tested to the rigorous standards demanded by our customers. We make sure that the equipment we supply and support will survive the maritime environment.

UltraSonic Antifouling Ltd – the world-leading manufacturer and developer of ultrasonic antifouling systems for the prevention of underwater fouling. The United Kingdom based company has a long association with the marine industry and was formally set up in 2007 to offer this new and revolutionary way to protect boats from fouling. Our partnership was formed specifically to compliment current HLI seawater chlorination products and to expand this proven technology to federal departments and state agencies.
