Also, HRSI staff works closely with their offices that are responsible for eligibility, billing, utilization review, appeals and policy. Additionally, many of its employees previously worked for the states. This all combines to ensure the communication with the various government agencies and offices that is necessary to help HRSI achieve rapid eligibility and reimbursement determinations. By utilizing HRSI’s staff on-site, the hospital can expect to realize greater revenue due to HRSI’s earlier intervention with the hospital’s uninsured population.
