June 10, 2014, Jersey City, NJ – On Saturday, May 24th, Hudson County Community College (HCCC) President Dr. Glen Gabert was named 2014 “Man of the Year” by the Dante Alighieri Society of Jersey City. The celebration honoring Dr. Gabert was held at Puccini’s Restaurant. In his letter informing Dr. Gabert of the Society’s nomination of Dr. Gabert as the Man of the Year, the Dante Alighieri Society of Jersey City President Anthony Catanio wrote: “We have followed your work and accomplishments, as well as your humanitarian deeds and your endless contributions to our community.

Hudson County Community College is dedicated to making higher education attainable for qualified students and their families. Throughout the year, we host several open houses and information sessions that will provide you and your child with information about the courses of study we offer and about financial aid that is available to HCCC students.

Bring proof of registration to your Veterans’ Affairs Advisor. Service members should access My Hudson and print their schedule to provide as proof of registration. Service members should also be prepared to provide copies of the following documents: DD-214, Commander’s Certification and Notice of Basic Eligibility (if applicable).
