Description
Humat was founded in 1975 by Bob Hughes, Hurley Matthews and Nick Borst who are all still active with the company. The Humat 4-Way Hydrant Valve was the first Humat product. It received an initial patent and more recently, an additional patent for improvements to the original design. Other Humat products have the same modular concept that incorporates interchangeable thread flanges and permits in-house maintenance.
