Spokane United Methodist Homes, doing business as Rockwood Retirement Communities, is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to providing housing and services for seniors with a commitment to excellence in promoting independence, wellness and lifelong vitality.

Assisted Living is based on developing individual, comprehensive care plans, involving the resident, our highly skilled staff, your personal physician, and family. After a health evaluation, we provide the right amount of support for daily living, along with encouragement and activities to help you be successfully independent as much as possible. Our caring staff will assist with dining, dressing, medications, bathing and other daily living activities. Rockwood South Hill and Rockwood at Hawthorne are both licensed and Rockwood at Hawthorne is Medicaid certified.

Memory Care is a specialty at Rockwood South Hill, with in-depth experience in caring for people with symptoms of Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Families throughout the Washington and Idaho area can feel confident turning to Rockwood to provide proper care for loved ones and the care they cannot always provide themselves. Our exceptionally knowledgeable staff help to guide residents and their families through the challenges that come with Alzheimer’s and dementia care.

We provide 24 hour care delivered by a licensed nurse and certified nursing assistants who are always on site.
