Encino Outdoor Services, L.L.C., is located about 30 miles from Corpus Christi, Texas, just northeast of Sinton, Texas. We're literally just across the highway (Hwy 77) from the legendary Welder Wildlife Foundation and Refuge in San Patricio County. The immediate vicinity contains over 400 species and subspecies of birds and nonmigratory wildlife. It occupies a fraction of a vast Spanish grant and has been in the Welder family since 1832. Unique for its private foundation, visitors and students come here from the world over to study nature, animals and wildlife as the preserve was designated to conduct research and education in the field of wildlife management and conservation. This is the first time any commercial hunting packages have been offered on the more than 6000 acres of the ranch. Here you will have the opportunity to relax, study and hunt whitetail deer, wild boar, javelina, wild turkey, bobwhite quail, mourning dove, bobcat, alligator and many other species. The ranch area is a mix of brush and grassland, Victoria black clay and black brush thickets to white sand dune areas. It provides plenty of cover and forage for the game that abounds throughout the ranch. The area attracts wildlife and has over 400 species of birds plus several hundred species of plants and flowers.
