The foundation of HuntonBrady Architects was established in 1947 in Orlando, Florida, by the integrity and talent of Robert Murphy, a Harvard graduate from Charleston, South Carolina. These values have been embraced and sustained by the subsequent partners that have joined the firm since that time. We provide architectural, design and planning services to both the public and private sectors worldwide.

Karen is an Associate and serves as Director of Corporate Development. Her expertise in the architectural community for over 23 years includes project administration, business development and firm administration. One of her primary responsibilities is to organize and lead the business development efforts for our commercial, interior design and medical office groups which provide design and planning services to corporations, developers, building owners and brokers. Karen also oversees and implements all of the Human Resources policies, programs and practices for the firm.

Susan is a project manager with over 20 years of architectural design experience in education, healthcare, commercial office and special projects. Recent projects include Central Florida Community College, Citrus Instructional & Conference Center; Seminole State College, Renovation to Buildings L & F; Orange County Public Schools, Killarney Elementary School; Orange County Public Schools Chickasaw Elementary School, and Renovation of the Catholic Charities Central Florida Service Center in Orlando. She is a LEED accredited professional with the U.S.

Chris is an Associate and Project Manager with over 11 years of experience leading various healthcare, education and commercial projects through design and construction. His recent projects include Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Cancer Institute, and several projects at Florida Hospital Flagler. He received his bachelor of design and master of architecture from the University of Florida. Chris is an active member of AIA Orlando/AIA Florida and in 2008 was named the recipient of the AIA Orlando Fred H. Pryor Young Architects Forum Achievement Award.

Ybor City. He is a critical component of the project team and serves as HuntonBrady’s liaison with clients, owners and contractors during a project’s construction phase. Phil received his bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana and has over 31 years of experience in the design industry.
