A. We prefer to negotiate contracts with Owners; however we do participate in competitive bidding for select architects in our area. After our first meeting we provide a detailed preliminary cost analysis to the client that demonstrates our professionalism, our strong value, and the basic structure of our future agreement. Our clients usually know that they want to work with us after receiving the preliminary cost analysis which allows us to move to further detailed estimating and collaboration with the design team.

Huseby Homes is a family owned and operated custom building and home remodeling company established in 1998 by Craig and Nichole Huseby. Huseby Homes is based in Nashville, Tennessee, serving Nashville and the surrounding areas for their home building and remodeling needs. Huseby Homes is dedicated to your service and satisfaction and to creating a trusting relationship from the very beginning between you and our staff. We are a strong team of devoted employees who are passionate about our work.

A. We provide estimates for the cost of the work from our vendors and trade partners to supplement our “in house” labor. The estimating process is systematic, and is designed to establish the final budget for the project. Much of our work is “Time and Material” (also referred to as “Cost Plus”), meaning the cost of your project will be the sum of all labor, trade partners’ invoices, and material invoices, , plus a fee. This agreement creates an open book system that the client reviews with the Huseby Homes production manager on a weekly basis.

Beau West | Project Manager Beau like many of our team members is a skilled craftsmen with over ten years of construction management under his belt. Our customers consistently recognize his conscientious client care and strong desire to please them. Beau has a wide variety of construction specialties to include wood working and concrete.

Huseby Homes was founded in 1998 by Craig and Nichole Huseby with a vision to build and remodel homes for discerning clientele. Craig and Nichole are both native Nashvillians with a passion for providing professional building and remodeling services.
