Established in 1961, Hutt & Shimanowitz, P.C. (formerly Hutt & Berkow, P.C.) is a mid-size firm located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Since it's founding, Hutt & Shimanowitz, has specialized in representing clients in real estate, land use and related fields. Hutt & Shimanowitz had served as general counsel to the New Jersey Builder's Association for over thirty years. As general counsel for NJBA, Hutt & Shimanowitz lobbied for legislation, participated in administrative rule making proceedings and legislative drafting committees on behalf of NJBA's members engaged in the development and construction industries in New Jersey. Hutt & Shimanowitz also handles a variety of additional types of law including, but not necessarily limited to: municipal court, landlord/tenant, divorce, domestic violence, real estate transactions and/or personal injury cases.
