Hutter Enterprises was founded in 1996 when Ed Hutter, president and engineer, developed the Hutter Putter and Hutter Alignment & Turning Pin. He brought these products directly to the market and saved the electric utilities millions of dollars in downtime. Since then, Hutter has brought many other time saving products to the market. All the while producing innovative outage tooling, Hutter and his technical director crew have been providing Turbine Field Engineer Services. The company is recognized as a pioneer in turbine outage time reduction methods and best industry practices. The Hutter technical director team has technically directed over 100 major turbine outages including those at Exelon Energy, General Electric, Duke Energy, Siemens-Westinghouse, Allis-Chalmers, Big Rivers Electric, and GPU. We are subject matter experts on turbine valves, generators, EHC, MHC, turbine auxiliaries, and laser alignment, having written over 100 work procedures for various clients.
