HYDROSPEC, Inc is a Georgia Corporation formed in 2000 to service Georgia EPD's Rules & NPDES General Permit for "Storm Water Discharges Associated with Construction Activity," which became effective August 1, 2000. The owners and principal managers of HYDROSPEC, Inc. are John H. Evans and Christopher A. Geist. Christopher A. Geist is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic Institute (BSCE) and a resident of Canton, Georgia. Prior to forming HYDROSPEC, Chris was a Project Manager for EMSInc, and managed the Dick Creek project, which received GW&PCA's "Plant-of-the-Year Award" two years running for excellent of operation. Mr. Geist's work experience also includes land surveying, development engineering and hydrology studies. Ms. Barbara Grady leads HYDROSPEC's administrative support team at our offices & lab in Tate, Georgia. Barbara has 25 years experience in business and office management and services as Comptroller for HYDROSPEC. In February 2001, HYDROSPEC, EMSInc & GaAg moved into our new offices and laboratory facility in Tate. This new physical facility positions our companies to move confidently into the 21st century. Our offices and lab are served by a modern networked computer system, and our field staff is equipped with comprehensive communications equipment including Nextel two-way and cell phones. HYDROSPEC's field staff of project managers are professional, comprehensively trained and "Qualified" pursuant to EPD requirements.
