Hygenix Inc. was established in 1985 by a group of public health professionals responding to the emerging need for interdisciplinary solutions to increasingly complex environmental concerns. Mr. Brown is president and an original founder of Hygenix Inc. Serving as Director of Industrial Hygiene, Mr. Brown oversees the firm's staff that deals with aboveground hazards in buildings. Mr. Brown holds degrees in medical laboratory science and environmental health from Northeastern, Tulane University and Columbia Universities. With more than 30 years' experience in clinical and environmental laboratory administration, public health and environmental consulting, Mr. Brown is recognized as a regional authority on the management of asbestos, lead, PCBs and other building-related hazards.
