Guinea is located in West Africa, between Guinea Bissau and Sierra Leone. Guinea sits in a highly prospective area for oil and gas exploration.Hyperdynamics holds a 77% participating interest in a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) that grants sole exploration and production rights to a 9,650 square-mile license area offshore Guinea in Northwest Africa. Dana Petroleum holds a 23% participating interest. In addition, the government of the Republic of Guinea has the option to participate for up to a 15% interest in development in the event of a commercial discovery.e have reduced the exploration uncertainty on our block by conducting extensive geological and geophysical studies to evaluate its resource potential and to identify multiple targets for further study and future drilling. We believe these targets have the potential for world-class hydrocarbon discoveries.
