Description
Chuck is the Rainmaker at Swift Print Communications in St. Louis MO. He’s been with Swift for 15 years and heads up the Annual Statement Division. Chuck found the love of his life back in high school…and that love is being on stage. He majored in music and studied opera for over 8 years. Music is his passion and it’s helped build the communication skills he uses today. As an IASA Volunteer, Chuck has been involved with many committees and held numerous management team roles. His wife Lynn, has been putting up with him for 33 years. They live in St.
Margaret Horn is currently Director of Statutory Reporting for Everest Reinsurance Company in Liberty Corner, NJ, where she has worked since 2011. Prior to joining Everest, Margaret was with Prudential Financial in various departments and positions for over 20 years, and High Point Insurance as Comptroller for 3 years. She is currently Vice President, Business Show for IASA, and sits on the board of the IASA’s Metro NY/NJ Chapter, where she has volunteered since 2005, including two years serving as President.
The IASA Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide scholarships to students preparing for a career in the insurance industry. College scholarships are awarded to individuals at a sophomore level or above who are enrolled in a college with an insurance program or who are preparing to pursue a career in insurance, and whose course of study is working toward a degree in Information Technology, Actuarial Science, Accounting, or Risk Management.
Joseph Pomilia is executive director for the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA). Mr. Pomilia became the first executive director for IASA in 2000. The IASA is a nonprofit entity, which was founded in 1928, and serves the education, information and networking needs of thousands of insurance industry professionals. As executive director Mr. Pomilia oversees the daily operations of the association and is an insurance and financial services industry spokesperson on financial and technology issues. Prior to joining IASA Mr.
Mary Ellen has over thirty years of IT experience in the property/casualty insurance industry beginning with her work at Acceptance Insurance Company in Omaha, NE. As an IASA Volunteer, Mary Ellen currently serves as the CIO on the Board of Directors and Management Team, has held the position of Vice President of the Seminars Committee, and has served on the Technology Committee for a number of years. She graduated magna cum laude from the University Of Nebraska at Omaha, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in English and a minor in Criminal Justice.
