Despite claims that his company’s heavily-advertised service offers “proactive identity theft protection,” a Wired.com story yesterday reported that Mr. Davis was himself a victim of identity theft at least 13 times. The perpetrators used Mr. Davis’ identity to obtain a loan from a check cashing company, open utilities, and secure wireless accounts, among other activities. IDWatchdog, who employs a team of certified, in-house identity theft recovery experts, includes full-service, power-of-attorney driven identity restoration and resolution services in its core product suite.
