Everglades City specializes in stonecrab claws and provides travelers many opportunities to experience this unique area. Popular activities are hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, sea shelling, fishing, boating, birding and wildlife viewing.Surrounded by several scenic parks, including Everglades National Park, Big Cypress National Preserve, Collier-Seminole State Park and Fakahatchee Strand, allows explorers to experience a variety of ecosystems seen by very few. Also nearby is Corkscrew Swamp, Shark Valley, Butterfly World, Briggs Nature Center and other interesting nature centers.North American Canoe Tours, Inc., The Ivey House Bed & Breakfast and Everglades Rental & Eco Adventures is a family run company, established in 1979, located in Everglades City, Florida.
