Iconica’s roots date back to 1973 with the founding of a small architectural firm called Planning Associates. We’ll do the math for you – that’s over 40 years! Tom Pientka joined the company in 1985, and provided construction services to some of the firm’s very loyal customers. He later recruited his brother, Jim Pientka, to help with field operations. In subsequent years Tom became more involved with the engineering and architectural side of the business while Jim took on more and more responsibility for construction.

Jeff Hyland recently joined the construction group at Iconica as Construction Manager. Jeff brings over 20 years of experience in construction, engineering and project management and is an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), a consensus-based national standard for developing sustainable buildings. His responsibilities include leading and managing the project team throughout the building process and ensuring that quality, schedule and cost objectives are achieved.
