IGC, International (formerly Intelligent Graphics Corporation) was established in 1985 in San Jose, California. The company developed one of the first multi-user DOS/Windows operating systems based on Intel's 32-bit processor architecture. IGC pioneered DOS application support with it s DPMI specification co-developed with Intel and Microsoft. In 1998 it was acquired by Prologue Software based in Paris, France and now boasts over 1.5 million seats installed worldwide with over 200 employees. Prologue Software is publicly traded on the French Nouveau Marche stock exchange. IGC s first product VM/386 was developed for the Intel 80386 processor as a 32-bit multi-user operating system designed to provide true preemptive multi-tasking and multi-threading of DOS/Windows tasks, with all of the stability and speed of mainframe systems. Users at non-intelligent text or graphics stations were able to share the same PC yet feel like they had their own system...
