Coppin House Sankofa House Clara's Village IHDC Newsbriefs and Press Releases : IHDC Board of Directors IHDC Staff Supporters and Donors Since 1992, IHDCC has created more than 300 units of permanent supportive housing serving more than 400 men, women and children in Chicago's most impoverished neighborhoods. These units are home to families overcoming chronic substance use, women who were formerly incarcerated, individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, homeless veterans and the elderly. IHDCC has worked with more than a dozen faith- and community-based organizations, acting as partner and pathfinder in the ever-changing and complicated world of urban housing development. IHDCC provides implementation planning tools, expertise and the long-term commitment necessary to create permanent solutions to homelessness in Chicago. NEW!
