IMPACT’s mission is to highlight developing machinery defects, minimize installation related problems, eliminate down-time and decrease unnecessary 'open & inspect' requirements to ultimately reduce overall maintenance costs with increased "results-driven" reliability.

IMPACT specializes in vibration analysis, ultrasonic detection, infrared thermal imaging, in-place dynamic balancing, laser optical alignment and on-line condition monitoring systems. To support this process, we are staffed with marine and business professionals, dedicated to providing the necessary services to support your maintenance needs today and into the future.

Founded in Colchester, Connecticut in 1988, IMPACT Engineering, Inc. began implementing and supporting marine based Predictive Maintenance Solutions which formed the cornerstone for IMPACT's Classification Society approved programs. By 1992, IMPACT had moved its headquarters to Washington State to expand its opportunity base for travel in Asian markets as well as to Europe and to locally support the majority of the West Coast work.

In 2005 IMPACT Engineering Inc.became a wholly owned subsidiary of Flux Drive Inc, a diversified designer and manufacturer of permanent magnet adjustable speed drives and couplings for global niche markets.
