Carole S. Ben-Maimon, M.D. has served as President of our generic products division, Global Pharmaceuticals, since September 2011. Prior to joining us, she served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy at Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from July 2009 to July 2010. Prior to her role at Qualitest, she served as Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer and director of Alita Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an early stage, privately held specialty pharmaceutical company, from September 2006 to June 2009. Dr.

Benet, Ph.D. has been a Professor since 1969 of, and has also served as Chairman of, the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences (1978-1998), University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Benet has been a founder of four biopharmaceutical start-up companies, for one of which he presently serves as chair of the Scientific Advisory Board (Hurel Corp). He received his A.B.
