Rate Changes, Effectively August, 2 2010 (Part I) To All Valued Customers, As you may understand, recent transportation news and reports indicate ongoing instability in the industry. While Imperial has strived to maintain competitive rates for the past few years, we are facing rate increases from all of our supporting vendors which include rail, labor, and fuel costs as well as operating costs. We also have been absorbing the extra costs to keep inland shipments moving on schedule during the rail equipment shortage. In order to maintain our level of service, we are reluctant to announce general rate changes as follows: LOOSE FREIGHT CHARGE PER HBL: FORKLIFT CHARGE: $5.00 per CBM or 800 pounds whichever is greater Minimum $50.00 per HBL per pick up Maximum $250.00 per HBL per pick up IN-BOND DOC FEE $10.00 PER HBL per pick up FUEL SURCHARGE $2.00 PER CBM (800LBS PER CBM) MIN. CHARGE $10.00 PER HBL per pick up
