Import Specialty Auto was founded in 1978 by a VOLVO auto technician and has been specializing in VOLVO repair and service for more than 35 years. ISA’s goal is the same now as it was then, to provide the best VOLVO repair Colorado Springs has to offer. Today, ISA is the premiere shop for Colorado Springs Volvo repair and service. Many of our staff members drive VOLVOS, and the business even has a fleet of VOLVO shuttle cars. In short, ISA knows VOLVO!

Import Specialty Auto prides itself on consistently providing quality service. This is what our customers deserve, and this is why we continue to thrive, even into our third decade of providing professional auto repair.

Import Specialty Auto was founded in 1978 as a family-owned and operated business. We began in a small two-bay Colorado Springs automotive repair shop on Boulder Street focused on Volvo service and repair. The technicians soon began to distinguish themselves as Colorado Springs import automotive service experts. In the late 1980s, ISA began specializing in Subaru and Toyota vehicles in addition to Volvos. In the late 1990s, we added late-model VWs and Audis to our list of specialties.

While our building has changed a lot over the years, our mission has not. We exist to develop and maintain long-term relationships, built on mutual trust, with import drivers. Our love and passion for import vehicles is demonstrated through our work and dedicated customer service. For seven years in a row, ISA has been voted a winner of the “Best Colorado Springs Automotive Repair Shop” by readers of the Gazette and the Independent.

While our building has changed a lot over the years, our mission has not. We exist to develop and maintain long-term relationships, built on mutual trust, with Colorado Springs’ import drivers.
