There are many options out there for ANSI compatible SQL software. Some are quite expensive and some are free. In Genius Shop Tools is designed to run with MySQL Version 4.0.x MySQL is a free open source product. We cannot distribute MySQL with our product unless we want to license MySQL or have our product be open source. MySQL is a true client-server SQL database engine.
We are continually adding new features and we try to incorporate user feature suggestions & requests. We provide limited phone support and un-limited e-mail support with the subscription. Additional phone support and/or local on-site support (Portland area only) is available for a reasonable hourly charge. IGST has a registration key system that will cause the software to expire after a specified amount of time. The client program reminds you 15 days before it expires.
