Piedmont Automotive Products in Clarkesville GA has been assembling electro-mechanical products for the automotive and outdoor products industries for over 50 years. In addition to assembly work, Piedmont also does riveting, metal stamping, spring coiling, soldering, and now surface mount printed circuit board assembly. Piedmont’s first surface mount products are for trucks: electronic controls for heating and air conditioning, and LED cargo lights.

Indak Manufacturing Corporation is an American company headquartered near Chicago with a six-decade history of design engineering and manufacturing excellence. The INDAK Group of manufacturing companies includes Piedmont Automotive Products and Southern Switches in Georgia, and Borg Indak in Wisconsin. We produce a wide range of electrical and electronic products.

Our products have been designed for a wide variety of applications and environmental conditions demanded by our customers in the Lawn & Garden, Construction, Marine, Recreational, and Agricultural industries.

Indak was founded in 1947 in the Chicago suburb of Evanston, Illinois. In 1956 Indak moved to its present location in Northbrook, Illinois. This facility, now expanded to 80,000 square feet, is headquarters for the INDAK group. Mechanical and electronic assembly, and plastic molding are done in Northbrook. Indak Group sales, purchasing, accounting, design and manufacturing engineering and program management are all based in Northbrook.
