Description

In Home Family Support Services, Personal Support Services and Respite Services are all determined through MN Waiver Programs and have been established to provide specific support to disabled youth, adults and their families. The hours are determined by county workers (public health nurses, social workers, case managers) and delegated to the agency to provide. Our agency has set up these programs to be flexible and allow for individual development to meet the needs of the disabled person.

We currently have three RNs, which are contracted to visit all Personal Care Attendant recipients. Our agency tries to provide services when the client needs them. We also provide a backup system so the client is not left without care.

Independence Plus, Inc. was established in 1993. The company was formed as a result of a family member needing services. However, there was not a Personal Care Agency in northwest Minnesota that was willing or able to provide care. Independence Plus, Inc. is contracted with the State of Minnesota to provide the services we offer. Private for Pay services we offer are covered under the appropriate license.

We provide all clients with a qualified professional, who will check on them, on a regular basis, to update the care plan and make sure the employee is still working and there are no problems.

Independence Plus, Inc is a Home Care agency. We provide personal care attendant services, home making services, respite care, senior companionship and chore service.
