At IPM we understand why we are in business-to provide paperboard solutions for our customers and our supplier partners, and we do this better than anyone else in the world. These solutions are everywhere at IPM. It may be solving a costly trim problem for a mill, providing 6 tons of SUS to a folding carton plant or 6000 tons of linerboard to a regional corrugator. It may be on-time delivery for a converter in Canada or South America.

On November 1, 2013, Doug Siemon, Mike Green and top Sales Representative Marc Gibbs purchased our original company back putting the "Independent" back into Independent Paperboard Marketing, while still maintaining the relationship we have built while being a part of all previous companies. IPM has been able to extend our network of suppliers throughout the years since its foundation. IPM's employees have been working together for many years and in that time we have strengthened our commitment to providing paperboard solutions.

Doug Siemon began his career at LaBoiteaux Company as a salesman when he graduated from college in 1971. Doug's family had quite a history in the paper brokerage business, with his grandfather being LaBoiteaux's president and his father having served as the company's executive vice president. LaBoiteaux had a long and distinguished history, having started in 1896 to provide supplemental sales coverage for independent boxboard mills. The company was acquired by Hammermill in 1981. Hammermill was susequently acquired by International Paper 1986.

Independent Paperboard Marketing serves a wide range of paperboard markets both domestic and offshore.
