Ripley County Farm Bureau Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1995 to provide a valuable service to our members. The money for these scholarships is generated from the ice cream sold in the Farm Bureau building during the Ripley County 4-H fair.

Indiana Farm Bureau's Young Farmer Program was created to help young men and women capitalize on the opportunities and overcome the challenges in agriculture to make their farm operations more profitable. Launched in 1969, the Young Farmer Program has made a positive difference in the lives of countless young farmers, helping many of them to achieve career success through agricultural education. In addition, the program was founded to educate today's young farmers to become tomorrow's leaders.

Indiana’s pig farmers contributed $3 billion to the state’s economy last year. Pork producers spend over $465 million in local, rural economies on farm operation-related expenses. Indiana is the 5th largest producer of pork in the nation and markets almost 8 million hogs per year.
