What is Choices, Inc.? Choices, Inc. is a nonprofit, community-centered organization that coordinates services for individuals and families involved in one or more governmental systems. Incorporated in 1997, Choices was created out of a community need by the four Marion County community mental health centers to coordinate the Dawn Project, a collaborative effort among child welfare, education, juvenile justice and mental health leaders to coordinate services for youth with severe emotional disturbances and their families in Marion County Indiana.
