Description

Industrial Plating Company is best known for its efforts, skills and experiences in servicing the textile industry; however, Industrial Plating Company has the expertise, equipment and facilities to service all industries that use rolls, drums, shafts, etc. for processing. We do repair work on the following types of textile rollers: Toray, Plantex, Barmag, Filteco, Leesona, Mackie, Neumag and Reiter, to name just a few. Industrial Plating Company has the capabilities to chrome plate parts to multiple existing Specifications and/or Drawings, those specific to your company; or, we can develop a written specification from your existing parts where none exists in print. Industrial Hard Chrome Plating is a layer of chromium which is applied to metal parts through the process of electroplating. Chrome Plating is an excellent choice where there is a need to reduce friction, improve corrosion resistance, improve surface hardness and to build up thickness to restore diameter. These attributes make chrome plating a great choice for parts that are subjected to high wear such as textile rolls and guides, hydraulic shafts, printing rolls, wear pins and others. Industrial Plating does not provide "decorative chrome plating" for items such as furniture, hub caps, exhaust pipes, etc. Industrial Plating Company offers its customers the advantages of the revolutionary Plasma Flame Spray Process and Metalizing. With these processes we are able to create thermal barriers, increase wear resistance, insulate or conduct electricity and stop corrosion. The applications of Plasma Flame Spray and Metalizing are practically unlimited. Many materials that can be prepared in a powder form can be applied through these processes; and, virtually any finish desired can be obtained. A ceramic coating can transform an ordinary metal into a high-performance material. But there's more to it than just deciding on which coating to use. Ceramic powders are introduced into a 30,000 °F arc of partially ionized gas (plasma) which melts the particles and propels them onto a substrate. Advantages - increase part service life - salvage machined parts - reduce corrosion - reduce overtime - reduce inventory of spare parts
