Industrial Training and Testing Institute is Philadelphia's largest facility for welder training and certification. We offer beginner courses for students with no previous background in welding, to testing for professionals looking to obtain their MIG, TIG, and Stick certifications. With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, we are fully equipped to meet your every need. Funding For Prospective Students Potential candidates seeking funding must meet the following criteria to be considered: Over 18, a clean criminal record for at least 7 years, drug-free, and must own a car. If qualified, students will then be cleared to apply for a government grant which covers the entire cost of the class. Training Our classes are a 3 month/12 week program where students will learn the processes of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, as well as Oxyacetylene cutting, welding theory, and blueprint reading. Every student also receives free job placement upon successful completion of our course. Classes are held Monday through Friday, and students have the choice of either a 8AM-1PM, or 1PM-6PM classes.

It comes as no surprise that I.T.T.I. has enjoyed continued growth from its first day of operation. With a total of 19 years in educating successful graduates backed with the experience and knowledge attained by welding for almost 40 years, we are the most logical choice for an aspiring welder. We are fully equipped with a total of 33 welding machines with individual stations for MIG, TIG and Stick welding. Giving individual attention to every student is our top priority, assuring that no one suffers from the lack of instruction that permeates other schools. I.T.T.I. has been traveling to and from many diverse companies for nearly 20 years using the best advertising that money can't buy: word of mouth. The facility is founded on the principle that, 'A job worth doing is worth doing right'. We have continued to maintain this fundamental ideal no matter how unusual or daunting the task. Each student leaves our facility fully capable of producing work that meets and exceeds industry standards. In addition, nearly every student that attends I.T.T.I. finds employment before or at graduation.
