About Our Company Inertia Switch Inc. is a full-service design, engineering, and manufacturing firm founded in 1950. Since our inception, we have designed, qualified, and delivered thousands of types of products. We specialize in acceleration switches of all kinds, but we also manufacture limit switches, prostheses, incandescent digital displays, and many other standardized and unique products.

Inertia Switch’s experience in manufacturing precision miniature electromechanical components for the aerospace industry makes them ideally suited to bring the Wagner displays back into production. Inertia meets the needs of aircraft operators needing replacement display components and assemblies no longer available from their original manufacturers.

Our model 4RO-737 is a true omnidirectional inertia switch able to sense accelerations in any direction. This unit damped will not falsely trigger under extreme dynamic environments. Often used by the military, this unit has been in service for over 40 years. Applications include: Safe-Arming, Torpedo detonation, Crash, Launch, Spin, Velocity, Acceleration, Thrust Cutoff and many more.
