Susan Dubb currently serves as the first Public Health Nurse and Community Wellness Coordinator for the Chatham Health District. She has been key to the development of the District’s Nursing and Employee Health Policies as well as working in the community on the development of a Middlesex County Community Health Needs Assessment. Prior to her career in public health, she has been a registered nurse for over 25 years with experience in critical care, long term care, behavioral health, home care, and emergency preparedness.

ICNC: We are a group of dedicated Infection Preventionists practicing in varied health care settings in the State of Connecticut with the goal of reducing the risk of infection to our residents, patients, families and staff. Our mission is to provide leadership through the state board of directors to promote evidence based infection prevention and control practices.

Kris is the Communicable Disease Prevention Supervisor for Ledge Light Health District. A nurse for over 40 years, she has had a varied career from critical care/trauma to running clinics in Saudi Arabia. She has taught at the University of Connecticut and the University of Hartford. Kris lectures extensively on infection prevention, communicable diseases and emergency preparedness. Kris is an active member of the Eastern CT Chapter and was the previous ICNC Board President in 2010-2012. Kris is also a member of APIC and the Connecticut Association of Public Health Nurses.
