Our company was founded by Dave Ingalls in 1990 when he left his engineering position from NYS Department of Transportation after several years of engineering experience in geotechnical engineering, highway design and consultant management. Beginning with only this experience, a small office in Rotterdam, NY and no staff, he began to service the engineering needs of local clients. The requests involved landfill design/permitting, mining plans, soils investigations and septic system design, and small residential subdivisions designs. With the motivation to service more clients, the business grew rapidly. Soon Ingalls & Associates LLP had multiple staff, including licensed professional civil and environmental engineers, environmental specialists, and CAD Technicians highly trained in the latest equipment and software. Today, the highly skilled Ingalls team continues to expertly service a diverse group of private and public sector clients.
