INJECTAMAX is a pioneering leader in the development and evolution of Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology. The company's roots go back nearly 15 years, when MIM was in its research and developmental infancy.In 1988, after several years of R&D, and to enhance their position in the powdered metal market, AMAX, a multi-billion dollar metals and mining conglomerate, formed AMAX Metal Injection Molding, a joint venture partnership , and the predecessor to Injectamax Corp. In 1994, Cypress Minerals, the eventual parent of AMAX, sold their partnership interest to Injectamax Corp, which owned the balance of the partnership.
