Broken Hand Printing started in 1992. Previously Ray Higgins, the owner, had been a print broker for seven years. We have been able to keep up with the latest changes in pre-press production, digital and "disk-to-press" printing, and storage media and the transfer of art over the internet. Ray Higgins has a Masters degree in Business Administration from Boston University. His undergraduate degree is from St. Martin's College in Olympia, Washington. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army (field Artillery). Project management and getting the job done is what he has done all his life. The Printers we represent are usually privately owned. Many are "mom and pop" shops. That means the people who are handling your project are ultimately responsible for it. We call it "adult supervision".
