Michael R. Solomon, founder and president, has been on the forefront of the health information technology field for over 25 year s. He has been responsible for the development of new business and leap-frog strategies for major health information technology firms throughout his career. Michael has led highly complex strategy projects involving all levels of leadership from the board of directors to product development teams. In the last decade alone, Michael has helped launch a number of very successful new businesses, and has helped several mature businesses refresh their portfolios and generate new sources of revenue. His in-depth understanding of the market’s needs, insightful anticipation of trends, and rigorous and rapid cycle strategy development process has earned him the respect of many senior executives in the HIT industry. Michael’s applied research practice is centered on electronic data interchange (clinical, administrative and financial), health information exchange/architecture to support electronic health record development, and web- based collaborative care applications. He anticipates the continued convergence of these areas of health information technology and is dedicated to helping health IT suppliers, care delivery organizations, and emerging regional health information organizations develop winning strategies and innovations to thrive as leaders in their respective markets. Michael earned a Masters in Business Administration, specializing in health care management, from the University of Miami, Florida.
