(May 1, 2014) The Small Business Development Center National Information Clearinghouse (SBDCNet) conducted its 70,000 th business information request in May. SBDCNet is dedicated to meeting the needs of the 1,100 small business development centers (SBDC) across the United States by providing timely, relevant, web-based information, and training services to SBDC advisors and their clients.
The SBDC National Information Clearinghouse is dedicated to meeting the needs of the 1,100 small business development centers across the United States by providing a broad range of financial, market and demographic research reports customized to a client's industry and geographic location. Reports must be requested by an SBDC Advisor.
In remarks at the ceremony, McKinley noted that the SBDC program ""has been successful in the United States for the past 35 years" as a partnership between the government, the universities and the private sector that work on business development to provide services in business training, counseling, technology assistance and research.
