Our mission is to be the company which, when called on by our current and prospective policyholders and agents, has the friendliest attitude, the best answers, the fastest service, and the understanding that it is ultimately the policyholder who we serve. We provide discounts to individuals who are farming or living in smaller cities, towns, or villages. When policyholders are affiliated with a local mutual company, additional discounts are available with 1st Auto. We do all of our business through insurance agents who are located in communities we serve.

We understand your challenges. Our professional services team will perform all of the IT functions needed to get you up and running and, if you so choose, we can keep you up and running by becoming an extension of your organization. For over 60 years Insurance Data Processing has been serving insurance companies by removing from them the burden and costs of performing non-value added work that we can do faster, better and at a lower cost than our customers are able to do. We are the IT Department for many of customers.

There is a better way to handle bureau reporting, a necessary job that produces no revenue and can incur heavy fines if not done accurately and in a timely fashion. We have gained a reputation for doing one thing... and doing it right. While other statistical agencies try to be all things to all companies, we have focused simply on being an outstanding resource for statistical reporting in compliance with state regulatory requirements. For over 50 years, we've been providing statistical services to our member companies. Many companies can compile numbers. We believe that how those numbers are compiled and the people compiling them is just as important.

At MSO we respect the fact that each insurance company has its own style and corporate philosophy. Small to midsize insurers rely on our customized rating and statistical services to provide them with an easier, more profitable way to underwrite risks. MSO was created by and for small to mid-size insurers, and that will always be our target audience. As a result, we are not the largest rating and statistical bureau. We are, however, the most flexible and responsive for the companies we serve.
