Intech Anchoring Systems, Inc. is the upper Midwest distributor for the A.B. Chance family of HELICAL PIER Foundation Systems. The Helical Pier is used in many different construction applications including: - New construction pilings when deep foundations are required - Stabilizing or lifting existing foundations - Tiebacks for retaining walls and basement walls - High capacity tiebacks for sheet piling or shoring - Guy anchors for restraint of towers and other high structures - Tower foundations - INSTANT FOUNDATION for parking lot lighting and communication platforms - SOIL SCREW Wall Retention System for retaining soils at deep excavations - Pilings for Walkways and Observation Decks in environmentally sensitive areas The Chance Helical Pier is a high capacity deep foundation/anchor that can be loaded instantly. As an example, our standard SS175 line of material has an ultimate strength of 100 kip (440kN), although the piers and related hardware are available in a wide range of sizes to meet many job applications. All of our underpinning installers are certified by A.B. Chance and Intech Anchoring Systems, Inc. after the completion of an intensive training session. Our systems have BOCA, ICBO and SBCCI approvals/ratings.
