When Jerry Pratt, Rick Allen and Blake McBride started INTEGRA SOFTWARE SYSTEMS in 1996, there were already several large competitors in the mortgage software industry. Many mortgage software customers across the country, though, were frustrated with their poorly performing and/or costly, difficult-to-use products. Jerry, Rick and Blake were already veterans of the mortgage software business, and they knew that there was a better way…the INTEGRA way, because integrity with customers is paramount.The founders' primary objective was to develop a comprehensive mortgage (loan) origination system that would stop the revolving door of mortgage businesses continually wasting time and money by having to replace one system after another. In order to ensure customer satisfaction and company success, the partners agreed this new system must be: 1) easy to implement 2) customizable to meet customers' needs and 3) user friendly for operation by people at all levels of a mortgage business and 4) reliable. Destiny was launched commercially in 1998.Unlike many of their competitors, INTEGRA places customers first in every aspect of the business, starting with more knowledgeable sales people to fast, yet thorough implementations and training, to superior customer support. The company's software is developed and maintained in-house, not in some faraway place that has no connection to the needs of U.S. mortgage businesses. If a prospect wants to talk to INTEGRA customers, a complete client list is provided—not just one or two. The number of Destiny users per customer continues to climb every year—indicating not only satisfaction with Destiny but also the success of its customers in the mortgage industry.
