History of Integrity, Incorporated Integrity Incorporated is a Little Rock-based community services organization providing a variety of health care, rehabilitative and child care services to the state of Arkansas. Integrity, Incorporated also operates nationally and internationally through its adoptive services to serve the global community. Integrity, Incorporated was licensed in 1989 by the Division of Developmental Disability Services of the Department of Human Services (DHS) as a non-profit organization to provide alternative based services for adults with developmental disabilities. Through Integrity, qualified adults were able to obtain supportive services, which allowed them to remain at home rather than be institutionalized. Integrity provided alternative living and day habilitation training to enable these adults to be mainstreamed into the community. As the need for additional services arose, Integrity expanded its programs. Through licensure by DHS Division of Children and Family Services, provisions were made for the appropriate care and services for developmentally disabled children. Further licensing by the DHS Division of Aging allowed Integrity to offer services to the elderly through the Elder Choices Program, including homemaker and respite care. Maintaining its reputation for excellence in community care, Integrity expanded once again in 1994 to provide placement of children in foster care. With further referrals and recognition of the lack of adequate day care facilities to meet the needs of children birth through five years, Integrity established a day care center. Integrity Day Care provides a nurturing center for regular daycare as well as for children with special needs. In its most recent expansion, Integrity has added yet another means of caring for children. Through its Adoption Services, Integrity serves not only Arkansas, but the global community as well.
