Description

Kathryn Johnson is a North Carolina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has worked with InterAct, Wake County's Family Violence Prevention Center for the past 12 years, and is currently the Associate Executive Director of the agency. During her tenure at InterAct, she has held the positions of Shelter Children's Counselor, Shelter Children's Program Coordinator, Assistant Shelter Director, Shelter Director, Associate Executive Director and Interim/Acting Executive Director. She has also worked as a Child Mental Health Clinician at a private, for-profit agency, and has experience in working as a family therapist for patients and families in recovery from substance abuse at an alcohol and drug treatment center in Greenville, North Carolina.
